10 KEYS - PROTECTING YOUR MIND FROM SATAN .
1.Faith - you cannot survive the enemies attacks on your mind outside the arena of faith as a believer . why? your faith is a shield against the fiery darts of the wicked . Eph 6:16(Amp)" Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].
2.Speaking in tongues - Edifies your spirit and soul (mind) with God's will and with time, your mind becomes aligned with the will of God . 1 Cor 14:4(Amp)" One who speaks in a tongue edifies himself; but one who prophesies edifies the church [promotes growth in spiritual wisdom, devotion, holiness, and joy]."
3.Effective prayer - Is different from just praying . It means praying with such intensity from your heart , such prayers affects your mind because you desire it strongly. James 5:16b(Amp)" The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]."
4.The word of God - Is God Himself and what can possibly shield your mind from the wicked arrows of an enemy you cannot see .2 Cor 10:4(Amp)" The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses." strongholds in the mind .
5.Read good christian books - That will edify and develop your mindset .Your mind responds to whatever it perceives through you as true . key - keep junk stuffs out of your mind and look for good magazines , books that will edify your mind to read . Prov 4:23(Amp)" Watch over your heart with all diligence,For from it flow the springs of life."
6.Good communication - guard your mind with good talk . stay away from those with bad language /communication . it affects the mind , what you hear and say . 1 Cor 15:33(Amp)" Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
7.Encourage yourself always - why? the mind is very vulnerable to attacks from the wicked , when you are discouraged or depressed . Satan takes advantage of you at such moments to fire you with all kinds of negative thoughts . David knew this trick of the enemy so what did he do ? He encouraged Himself in the Lord .1 Sam 30 :6(Amp)" Further, David was greatly distressed because the people spoke of stoning him, for all of them were embittered, each man for his sons and daughters. But David felt strengthened and encouraged in the Lord his God."

The truth - the word of God in your spirit is your shield and buckler .it will cut away any negative thought from your mind.Let your mind dwell on the truth always .(2 John 1:2) Heb 4:12(Amp)" For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged [a]sword, penetrating as far as the division of the [b]soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart."
9.Worship - your mind loves music . Is inspired by songs . Have you ever wondered , why Elisha called for the minstrel before he gave them the answer to the problem ? When your spirit is lifted , you are then able to respond positively to the challenge at hand .2 Kings 3:15,16" But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him. 16 And he said, Thus saith the Lord, Make this valley full of ditches."
10.Confession - In God's Kingdom we don't keep silent when the enemy attacks our mind , we speak and hold fast to what God has said . Heb 10:23 (Amp)" Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word];"
