August The Month Of Testimony

The man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome PhD, as led by God’s Spirit declared this month to be ‘The Month of Testimony’ in an atmosphere of praise at the August Worship and Miracle Communion Service. Reading from several scriptures, particularly Hebrews 13:15, Hosea 14:2, Ecclesiastes 11:3, 1 John 5:9-12 and Revelations 12:9-11, the man of God instructed the brethren to write down their testimony each day and bear record (witness) with the Lord through their confessions to His name. Pastor Chris launched the global audience, already brimming over with expectations into a season of potent confessions to the name of the Lord Jesus. The man of God admonished that throughout this month, we will testify to the health of God in our bodies, His prosperity evident in all that our hands do, His Word at work in our lives and His glory evident through us. As we release words of power, consistent with God’s Word concerning us, there is sure to be a filling up of the clouds and an outpouring into our lives, said Pastor Chris. Glory to God! It’s our month of Testimony!

What does the Bible say about setting goals?

The Bible offers a balanced approach to setting goals that includes making plans yet doing so with wisdom and humility. Jesus’ illustration of building a tower implies that it is a good thing to have set goals ( Luke 14:28 ). To live with no motivation or planning is not God’s desire.  Proverbs 6:6-11  says, “Go to the ant, O sluggard;     consider her ways, and be wise. Jesus taught that the condition of a person’s heart will manifest itself in his or her behavior: “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.
