If Adam was the first man created by God, why do we all have different skin and colors and languages and culture?

Where did all the continents of the world come from? If Adam was the first man created by God, why do we all have different skin and colors and languages and culture? Question: Tracy (Canada) – Where did all the continents of the world come from? If Adam was the first man created by God, why do we all have different skin and colors and languages and culture? Answer: Reading from 1 Chronicles 1:19, “And unto Eber were born two sons; the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided and his brother’s name was Joktan”. So there was a time when the landmass was divided to form the continents. Then about why we have different skin colours and languages; that will from Genesis 11:8 it says, “So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth”. So there was a time they were all together and at this time God changed their language; so they were scattered abroad. As people migrated, climatic conditions; diet began to change some of the genetics, so people had to take on darker skin tone for the hotter climate and so on. So that’s why there’re variations.
