Pray for The Nation

Psalm 33:10-12 declares: "The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. 11 The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. 12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance". In both 15min sessions today, we'll pray mostly in tongues and also pray specially for churches of Christ around the world having difficulties with civil or government agencies, which have frustrated their activities or ministry in their locality; pray for churches facing challenges in courts of law, that the Lord may intervene swiftly in their behalf. Our God is gracious and greater than all. Hallelujah! God bless you.

The Bible offers a balanced approach to setting goals that includes making plans yet doing so with wisdom and humility. Jesus’ illustration of building a tower implies that it is a good thing to have set goals ( Luke 14:28 ). Jesus taught that the condition of a person’s heart will manifest itself in his or her behavior: “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.
