Keep Testifying!!

During the days our Lord Jesus walked this earth, some people admired Him for His love, compassion, and the miracles He performed while others were irritated by His words and actions. They agreed He was a good man, probably a prophet, but they couldn’t accept something He constantly affirmed: that He came from God and was one with God. They were enraged at Him and they planned to kill him for speaking such “blasphemous” words.

There are still many today who are offended when we make such bold declarations about our rights and privileges as believers in Christ Jesus. When a Christian begins to testify about his sonship in Christ, the religious folks get uncomfortable, thinking he is exalting himself too highly. Even when it’s shown to them from the Scriptures, they refuse to see it because of their mindset. They find it difficult to accept; instead they go around accusing us of blasphemy. Some Christians have allowed themselves to be affected and discouraged from boldly testifying of who they are in Christ and of their inheritance in Him. They shy away from revealing in their words, God’s purpose for their lives.  Don’t find yourself in that state; refuse to be affected by such accusations.

What does the Bible say about setting goals?

The Bible offers a balanced approach to setting goals that includes making plans yet doing so with wisdom and humility. Jesus’ illustration of building a tower implies that it is a good thing to have set goals ( Luke 14:28 ). To live with no motivation or planning is not God’s desire.  Proverbs 6:6-11  says, “Go to the ant, O sluggard;     consider her ways, and be wise. Jesus taught that the condition of a person’s heart will manifest itself in his or her behavior: “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.
