The Lord require of you to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. God appears to His people. God calls everything as witnesses in the case between Him and His people. Apparently his people did not remember the redemptive acts he performed over many years and centuries. People should understand that God is always faithful; in contrast; the peolple are unfaithful. They firmly believe that they could get God on their side by some religious acts.(Micah 6-6-7). This is what we do; if we foolish or we sinned, we try to compensate by trying to do good things. We do a good deed here and there. Unfortunately, it is more the result of guilt than conviction. God's Word is clear, God is interested in our hearts and our lives, nothing less. Lord teach us your wisdom, for Christ's sake. Amen!

The Bible offers a balanced approach to setting goals that includes making plans yet doing so with wisdom and humility.
