Use What You Have

As believers in Christ, we've been given the power or attorney to  use the Name of Jesus. If for instance someone comes to you with a request in the name of your boss; an authority figure you recognize, you'll oblige him, not because of who the messenger, but because of the respect you have for the one in who's name he has come.

Even if you don't like the messenger's face or attitude, your respect for his boss will compel you to grant his request. The Name of Jesus works the same way in the spirit-realm. Peter understood this when he met the crippled man at the gate of the temple called Beautiful. That's why he said to him"...such as I have giveI thee: in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazereth rise up and walk"(Acts 3:6) He then took the crippled man by the right hand and lifted him up. The Bible said immediately; the man's hitherto crippled feet and ackle bones received strengh(Acts 3:7-8).

This wasn't prayer; Peter didn't make a request to God. He used the Name of Jesus as an instrument. Never say you don't have anything; you have the name of Jesus; a mighty and wonderful instrument- use it!
