Thought for Today: How to Exercise Dominion over Troubling Situations

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us (Romans 8: 37).
I discovered that when a change is about to come, troubles always come ahead of it. Every time there’s a promotion around the corner, bad news shows up. This is when everything around you will just seem to go wrong. So, if you desire to move higher in your life then get ready for some trouble. Never be anxious about anything or any situation. One way by which I know that I am moving forward is when I face challenges.
Understand that as a child of God, you’re never disadvantaged. When everything around you seems to be the reverse of what the Word of God promised, that’s the time to lift your eyes up high in the Spirit. It’s not the time to look down, for when you look down you’ll see the shadows. Observing the shadows will bind you and put you where the devil wants you to be, but when you look up, you’ll see the solution to that nagging problem.
You can exercise your authority and make a change irrespective of the situation you find yourself today. God has given you the secret of victory through His Word. So, you must not remain with or be adapted to that troubling situation or terrible news. Exercise your dominion over it immediately!
