Arise, Shine For Your Light Is Coming!

Thought For Today: Arise, Shine For Your Light is Come! Arise [from the depression in which circumstances have kept you – rise to a new life!] Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! (Isaiah 60:1 Amp). Jesus is the light, so arise, get up, wake up, because your light has come! Don’t look down anymore. If you do, all you’ll see are the problems and challenges you’re going through. Rather, look up to the light. The Apostle Paul, while preaching in Lystria, said to a man impotent in his feet, “Arise!” and the man leaped and walked (Acts 14:8-10). An angel walked into the prison where the Apostle Peter was and immediately, the chains he was bound with fell; the angel didn’t have to break the chains nor did he have to open the door; it opened of its own accord (Acts 12:7-10). The Spirit says to you today that the chains that have kept you down were broken a long time ago; you’re out of bondage. Hallelujah!

Your Glorious Life

Thought For Today: Live in the Glorious Light of Your Prosperity For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes be became poor that ye through his poverty might be rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). You’re the heir of God: “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ” (Romans 8:17). Consequently, all of God’s wealth and resources belong to you. Now, how rich is God? The Bible says the silver, gold, precious stones and the whole world belong to him: “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts” (Haggai 2:8). “For every beast of the forest are mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine, for the world is mine and the fullness thereof (Psalm 50:10-12). As an heir of God, and joint heir with Christ, the silver, the gold, the cattle upon a thousand hills, the world and the fullness thereof belong to you as much as they

Light To Shine Out Of The Darkness!

Thought For Today: Command the Light to Shine Out of That Darkness For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts… But we have this treasures in earthen vessels… (2 Corinthians 4:6.7). This portion of the Scripture is one of the most inspiring in the Bible because of the truth it reveals and there are two vital things I want to highlight from it. Firstly, it says that the light of God is in our hearts. Secondly, the scripture doesn’t say “God commanded the darkness to become light’ neither does it say “God brought light into the darkness. You see, either of these two statements may be good, but what this scripture really says is even better. “For God commanded the light to shine out of darkness…” (2 Corinthians 4:6). Can light come out of darkness? We all know that light and darkness don’t mix yet the Bible says that God commanded the light to shine out of darkness. Remember, the earth was a chaotic mass that was enveloped in complete darkne

Lights In The Month Of Light

Thought For Today: Celebrating Lights in the month of Lights! And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever (Daniel 12:3). This month has been declared by the Holy Spirit as the month of Lights, a special time to shine forth the glorious light of the gospel of Christ with great intensity. The gospel has been committed to your trust. Your ultimate desire should be to impact your world with this Gospel. As a child of God, this is your destiny and primary responsibility. Understand that irrespective of race, status or location, everyone needs Jesus and you must let the passion for the Lord motivate you to express and manifest the love and compassion of Christ to the hurting and dying in our world. One of the major ways to achieve this is through conscious and consistent partnership. We would like to use this opportunity to congratulate all our ministry partners, especially our award winn

Dealing with homosexuality

Episode 6 :: Question 6 on Homosexuality on Aug 28 in dating and relationships, homosexuality, sex/sexuality tagged by qatranscripts Question 6—Winnie (USA): I would like to ask concerning homosexuality? What does God say about the lesbians and gay people? Is it God who made people to be like that, because psychology tells us that some of those people are born bisexual and their sexual intercourse, abnormal? Answer 6: Alright. Let me read. I have several scriptures to read to you, and this would be very instructive. The first one would be from Romans 1: “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. [Romans 1:20]” Now, what this is saying is this, that the invisible things of God can be understood by visible things around us. In other words, you look at natural things of life and you can have an idea what God’s real will is and how to in

Why God created Satan!

Episode 11 :: Quick Vote Question on God’s Purpose for Creating Satan on Jun 22 in demons and idols, fallen angels, judgment, satan tagged by qatranscripts Quick Vote Question: Now, for the quick vote question, we gave you several options and these options were: 1) The location of the Garden of Eden 2) Did God accept a human sacrifice? 3) Why did God create the devil? 4) Is transsexualism a sin? The quick vote question of the week is: “Why did God create the devil?” Is their a personality known as the devil? If there is, was it God who created it? Why? That’s the question. Answer: First and foremost, Jesus let us know that there is a personality known as the devil. The whole Bible teaches that there is a personality known as the devil and gives us the history of the devil. The Bible lets us know that the devil was a person that was created; he was created, but he was not always a devil; he became a devil. I want to read something to you from the Bible that will help you und

Your The Light of the World!

Light up your World! Ye are the Light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Matthew 5:14). Light is that which describes or makes manifest; it gives direction and shows the way. Also, light brings fulfillment and joy. Thus, the Lord Jesus gave us a high calling when he said “ye are the light of the world.” It means that as Christians, we’re the ones to give direction; we’re the ones to show the people of the world the way to live the triumphant life. In John 8:12. Jesus said. “…l am the light of the world. If anybody follows me, he shall not walk in darkness but he shall have the light of life.” Then in John 20:21, he said, “as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you” Consequently, you’re the light of the world, in the same sense as Jesus was the light of the world when He walked the earth physically. No wonder the Apostle John, understanding this revelation declared: “…as he is, so are we in this world.” If you’re a student, you’re the ligh

Be Filled With The Holy Ghost

Thought For Today: Manifesting Increased Glory- Be Filled With the Holy Ghost And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God (Ephesians 5:18-21). Having received the Holy Spirit after you’re born again, there’s a day-to-day or continual infilling of the Spirit that you must experience in order to live the higher life of glory to which you’ve been called. The latter part of our opening scripture lets us know what to do to be filled with the Spirit like this: you’ll have to speak to yourself in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs! You’ll have to consciously talk, sing, and make melody of the Word, in your heart, to the Lord! You’ll have to give thanks always for all things unto God and

Praise God!

Thought For Today: Praise Him!!! Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God In the mountain of his holiness (Psalm 48:1). It’s important for us to take stock of all that the Lord has done for us in the month of increased glory and profusely worship and thank Him for His great love, kindness and the mighty blessings we experienced. We must recognize Him as the One by whose grace we experienced increased glory in the month of October, while thanking Him for the great blessings, miracles and fruitfulness of this new month. This is not a time to whine, murmur, complain or grumble, but a time of gratitude, praise, joy and thanksgiving. It’s a time to offer God true worship that’s not dependent on the external circumstances or conditions around you but emanating from deep within your spirit—worship from a grateful heart! The kind of worship described by Jesus in John 4:23-24: “But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father
