Thought For Today: Manifesting Increased Glory – Making Allowances for Others Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s fault because of your love. (Ephesians 4:2 TLB) We need to make changes—God-inspired Changes, when necessary. Change is part of the growth process. The truth is the way to make positive and effective changes in your life as a Christian is through the agency of God’s Word and by the power of the Holy Spirit. At the beginning of this month, we started a study of the book of Ephesians chapters 4 and 5 and one of the instructions we received from the scripture portion above is that we should make allowances for each other’s fault because of our love. Like God, we ought to learn to look at people beyond their actions. It doesn’t mean a denial of their wrongs, but you see them the way God sees them, and love them irrespective of their shortcomings. Thought For Today: Manifesting Increased Glory- Created In His Image Therefore be imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father] (Ephesians 5:1). The only reason the above scripture implores us to imitate God—our Father is that we’re like Him! We’re created in His image and in His likeness; we have His nature, which gives us the ability to act like Him. This means we can actually copy Him; we can do things like Him. Thought For Today: Manifesting Increased Glory- You Are The Express Image of God Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth (Psalm 50:2 AMP). Zion is revealed as the perfection of beauty, from where God’s glory shines forth. This means we’re meant to radiate the glory of God as citizens of Zion because we have received eternal life, the God-kind of life. The world ought to see the expression of God’s beauty in our lives, for we’re the bearers of His splendour. In Hebrews 1:3, the Bible describes Jesus as the effulgence of God’s glory, “…and the express image of his person….” And the Lord Jesus himself proclaimed, ‘…he that hath seen me hath seen the Father…” (John 14:9). Thought For Today: Manifesting Increased Glory – Put Away Bitterness and Malice Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger; and clamour and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. And be ye kind one to another; tenderhearted, forgiving one another; even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you (Ephesians 4:31-32). Bitterness and malice are offshoots of unforgiveness. There’re folks who say, “I will never forgive so-and-so for what he did to me.” Others add a different style to it and say “I have forgiven him for what he did to me, but I don’t think I can ever forget it” As a child of God, you should act like your heavenly Father, who never recalls offences. Malice and bitterness will take the shine out of your life. If you want the beauty of God – the glory of God – to be seen in your, then refuse to keep malice or be bitter. One of the wonderful blessings we have as Christians is our privilege to talk directly to the Lord in prayer and receive answers. It makes no difference whether we're praying corporately as a group or as individuals; Jesus said "..Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you... ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full" What a blessed invitation! You have the right to pray directly to the Father in the Name of Jesus, and make request of Him concerning the changes you want in your life, and receive answers. Sadly, some don't have the confidence in their own prayers, so they look to others to pray for them. But blessed be God: there's no situation that's greater than the Name of Jesus. The next time you kneel or lift your hands in prayer, do so with faith, confidence and boldness, for you're heard of the Father.

In very instructive and categorical terms, the Spirit of God, through the Apostle Paul admonishes us not to engage in unwholesome or corrupt communication. Thought For Today: Manifesting the Glory Within! Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee (Isaiah 60:1). When the Bible says “The glory of the Lord is risen upon you,” it refers to the glory within! It’s a spiritual terminology that shows that God has bestowed His grace upon your life. It’s the outward manifestation of an indwelling divine influence. God has called you to the life of glory, which is beyond the earthly realm. That life is the manifestation of His glory: the perfections, beauty and excellence of divinity resident in your spirit! This therefore means that the glory of God is in your spirit, not on your head. Jesus walked and lived in the glory of God everyday while He walked on earth. You have heard that it said"Love your neighbour and hate your enemy." But I tell you; love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. To love our enemies and to pray for our persecutors, are in many ways the same ideas. Love for the enemy will lead to pray for him. To pray for our enemies is an indication that we love them. Under no circumstances does it mean that we approve the deeds of our enemies. We just choose another option to deal with them. It is clear from Matthew 5:45, if we love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, we are called children of God. Love for the enemy is therefore not an indication of weakness, but of the strength of the children of God. How will God judge you today? Thought For Today: Blessed With All Spiritual Blessings Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Isn’t it wonderful to know that the fullness of God’s blessings belong to you? In this month of increased glory, you’ll experience the bountiful blessings of God in overflowing measure. Somebody said, “ I’ve been praying to God to bless me,” that’s the wrong prayer and in this month, you shouldn’t pray that kind of prayer. This is because God isn’t going to bless you any more than He already did. He already blessed you with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, not some. As a born again child of God, you don’t need to look for any blessing anywhere else, or pray to God to bless you. Rather, recognize that the month of Increased Glory is your set time to enjoy the fullness of God’s blessings. The Bible says you were called to inherit a blessing (1 Peter 3

The Lord require of you to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. God appears to His people. God calls everything as witnesses in the case between Him and His people. Apparently his people did not remember the redemptive acts he performed over many years and centuries. People should understand that God is always faithful; in contrast; the peolple are unfaithful. They firmly believe that they could get God on their side by some religious acts.(Micah 6-6-7). This is what we do; if we foolish or we sinned, we try to compensate by trying to do good things. We do a good deed here and there. Unfortunately, it is more the result of guilt than conviction. God's Word is clear, God is interested in our hearts and our lives, nothing less. There's a way God expects us to pray as Christians. Some people don't know this, so they muddle up their prayers and think God would hear them somehow. They pray to Jesus in the Name of Jesus, and sometimes pray to angels. If you want to pray and get results, you need to understand the place of the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost, and the angels in your prayer so you wouldn't mix things up. The Lord Jesus said in John 16:23, "And in the day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, He will give it to you." How wonderful to realize we can enjoy an awesome ministry of the Holy Spirit, and participate in angelic activities, because we function in the Name of Jesus.
