I discovered that when a change is about to come, troubles always come ahead of it. Every time there’s a promotion around the corner, bad news shows up. This is when everything around you will just seem to go wrong. So, if you desire to move higher in your life then get ready for some trouble. Never be anxious about anything or any situation. One way by which I know that I am moving forward is when I face challenges. Understand that as a child of God, you’re never disadvantaged. As believers in Christ, we've been given the power or attorney to  use the Name of Jesus. If for instance someone comes to you with a request in the name of your boss; an authority figure you recognize, you'll oblige him, not because of who the messenger, but because of the respect you have for the one in who's name he has come. Even if you don't like the messenger's face or attitude, your respect for his boss will compel you to grant his request. The Name of Jesus works the same way in the spirit-realm. Thought for Today: Exercise Dominion Over Devils and Demons Posted on August 14, 2012 by admin Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10: 18-19). The main reason many Christians have problem with the devil is because they’ve given him a place in their lives, contrary to the Apostle Paul’s admonition in Ephesians 4:27. They limp and grimace whenever they feel the slightest pain in their leg. The Lord Jesus instructs us to cast out devils (Mark 16:17), so don’t wait one moment before you get the devil off your body or situation. Once you can resist the devil in your life, he will flee from you. The bible says, “ So, be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). Gospel means good news. So when Jesus said for us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creation. He means for us to preach the good news. It's not good news if it doesn't bring any positive change. Good news for the poor is that God has brought him out of poverty(2 Corinthians 8:9) Good news for the sick is that God loves him and wants him well(3 John 1:2) Good news to the sinners is that God is not mad at him because of his sins; rather, He"s made righteousness available to him through the Gospel(2 Corinthians 5:19) This is the message that has been commited to our trust. This is the good news we must spread in our world. Your primary responsibility on earth is to preach the Gospel to those in your world; those with whom you share common interest, space or relationships. The reason you're on your job is because God sent you there to share the good news of Christ's salvation with them, so they might receive eternal life.
